The internet is full of wellness advice — most of it unsourced, trend-driven, and written to sell you something without explaining why.

We started Deep Root Wellness because there was nowhere that combined honest, research-backed content on sleep and gut health together — even though the two are deeply connected by biology.

Your gut produces 90% of your serotonin. Serotonin is a precursor to melatonin — your sleep hormone. Fix the gut, and sleep often improves. We cover both, together, with peer-reviewed sources behind every claim.
